The double-parallel fold is the other kind of folding brochures. In this, the ends are folded in the middle and then it is folded inwards. The brochure will contain eight sections with four on both front and back each. The double parallel is similar with the double-gate fold, which also has eight sections in total. The French-fold is when the page is folded in half once horizontally and then vertically resulting in eight sections. Four on both front and back each.
